Globe Security Services is seeking an experienced and proactive Security Manager to lead and oversee our security team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of security best practices and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

    Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our clients, their employees, and visitors
    Manage and supervise a team of security personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
    Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
    Coordinate with clients to understand their specific security needs and develop tailored security plans
    Oversee the operation and maintenance of security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
    Respond to and manage security incidents, conducting investigations and preparing detailed reports as necessary
    Collaborate with local law enforcement and other external agencies as needed
    Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to security
    Continuously stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies, recommending improvements and upgrades as appropriate
    Develop and manage security budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources

Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in security or law enforcement, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
    Valid security manager license or certification as required by local regulations
    In-depth knowledge of security best practices, policies, and procedures
    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    Ability to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions, and solve problems effectively
    Experience with security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarms
    Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
    Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
